Data Protection Policy

What this page covers

This page describes how Angel Salinas, trading as Salinas Digital, protects personal data. What we collect, why, and your rights are in the Privacy Policy. If the two pages differ, the Privacy Policy is the notice of those uses.

Where data is kept

• Checklist contacts, including name, email, country, and the date marketing consent was given, are kept in Brevo.
• Contact-form messages are delivered through EmailJS to the Salinas Digital inbox. They are not copied into the Brevo marketing list.
• The website is hosted on Cloudflare.

We do not keep a separate spreadsheet of checklist signups. We do not sell personal data or share it for another company’s marketing.

Who can access it

Angel Salinas can access the Brevo account and the inbox. The service providers named in the Privacy Policy can process the data only to provide their service. If another person later handles client work and needs access, this page will be updated first.

How we protect it

• The site is served over HTTPS.
• Access to Brevo and email is limited to Angel Salinas.
• The checklist form rejects a submission that does not include marketing consent, including a submission that bypasses the checkbox in the browser.
• We record the consent as given, the date, and the source “shopify-store-health-check” on the Brevo contact.

How long we keep it

• A checklist contact stays in Brevo until that person asks for deletion.
• Unsubscribe stops marketing emails. The contact remains until a deletion request, so we can avoid emailing that address again.
• A contact-form message is kept for 24 months, or longer if that person becomes a client and the message is needed for the work.

Unsubscribe and deletion

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@salinas-digital.com and ask us to stop marketing or to delete your data. Stopping marketing and deleting the contact are different requests. Ask for deletion if you want the contact removed.

If you later submit the checklist form again and tick the marketing box, that is new consent and marketing emails can resume.

Requests

Email hello@salinas-digital.com to ask for a copy, a correction, a restriction, or deletion. We may ask you to confirm that you control the email address before we act. We aim to reply within one month.

If data is exposed

If personal data is lost, accessed, or shared without permission, Angel Salinas will assess the incident. Where the law requires it, we will tell the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos and the people affected.

Changes

This page will be updated, and the date at the top changed, if the tools, access, or retention periods change.
