Who is responsible

Angel Salinas, trading as Salinas Digital, established in Spain, is the person responsible for your personal data. Email: hello@salinas-digital.com. These pages do not publish a postal address.

There is no data protection officer. Use the email above for any privacy request.

The checklist and marketing

If you request the Shopify Store Health Check, you enter your name and email. The checklist is sent only if you tick the box agreeing to receive emails about resources, products, and services from Salinas Digital. The box is not ticked for you.

We also detect your country from your connection and store the country name with your contact. We do not ask you to type it. We do not store your IP address in our contact list.

We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not send your details to other companies for their own marketing.

What we collect and why

• Checklist email. Your name and email are used to send the PDF and scorecard. The legal basis is that you asked us to send them.
• Marketing emails. Your name and email are used for later emails about Salinas Digital resources, products, and services. The legal basis is your consent. That consent is required to receive the checklist.
• Country. The country detected from your connection is stored so we can understand where checklist requests come from. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing that. You can object to this.
• Contact form. Your name, email, message, and the time you sent it are used only to read and reply. They are not added to marketing emails. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and the steps needed before any paid work you ask about.
• Hosting. Cloudflare processes connection data, including your IP address, to serve and protect the site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure site.

We do not use your data for automated decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects.

Who receives it

• Brevo (France) stores checklist contacts and sends the checklist email and later marketing emails.
• EmailJS receives contact-form messages and delivers them to our inbox.
• Cloudflare hosts the site and processes connection data.
• country.is receives your IP address from your browser and returns a country code. We then store the country name in Brevo.

These providers process data for us. They are not allowed to use it for their own marketing. Angel Salinas can also access the Brevo account and the inbox that receives enquiries.

Transfers outside Spain

Brevo stores checklist contacts in the European Union. Cloudflare is based in the United States and may process connection data outside the European Economic Area, using its approved transfer safeguards. EmailJS and country.is may also process data outside the European Economic Area in order to deliver the contact form and the country lookup. You can ask us for more detail about those safeguards at hello@salinas-digital.com.

How long we keep it

• Checklist contacts stay in Brevo until you ask us to delete them.
• If you unsubscribe, marketing emails stop. We still keep the contact until you ask for deletion, including a record that you opted out, so that we do not email you by mistake.
• Contact-form messages are kept for 24 months so we can deal with the enquiry. If you become a client, we keep the conversation for as long as we need it for that work.
• Connection data in hosting logs follows Cloudflare’s retention for that service. We do not run a separate analytics store.

Your rights

You can ask Angel Salinas to:

• give you a copy of your data
• correct it
• delete it
• limit how it is used
• provide name, email, country, and consent details in a portable form
• object to use based on legitimate interest, including the stored country

You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by emailing hello@salinas-digital.com. Withdrawal stops future marketing. It does not affect the checklist email already sent, and it does not by itself delete your contact. Email us if you want deletion.

Complaints

You can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 Madrid, aepd.es. You may also email us first and we will respond.

Cookies

This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set a cookie that is strictly necessary to run and protect the site. That cookie does not require a consent banner.

Children

The site is aimed at store owners. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 14. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will update the date at the top when this policy changes. If a new use of your data needs consent, we will ask for it.
